The Mariners are staying alive in the playoff race. J.P. Crawford hit a two-RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning as Seattle walked off the Texas Rangers 3-2 at T-Mobile Park. Crawford lifted the M's after they trailed 2-0 in the fourth inning. That truly was a magnificient moment, but so was his hair twirl.
Julio Rodriguez hit his 32nd home run of the season with a solo shot in the fourth. Seattle is three games behind Texas in the AL West. The Mariners are one game behind Houston for the third AL Wild Card spot. Seattle sends right-hander Bryan Woo to the mound tonight.
