Who else is sick of falling down on icy sidewalks?
The city of Seattle is launching a program in hopes of encouraging snow shoveling and will give away free shovels to Seattle residents. The city will also provide ice melt and shoveling tips. Register by Saturday to “receive yours before winter weather arrives,” the city wrote. “Equipment is available while supplies last.” More at the city website seattle.gov.
