Dozens of Maui cats have been flown to the Seattle area to make room in Maui shelters for the animals who were separated from their owners during the fires. So, the cats that are here now were already adoptable - these aren’t cats from displaced folks in Maui.
17 cats went to Seattle Humane in Bellevue and 18 to the NOAH Center in Stanwood this week .
PAWS in Lynnwood plans to take in another transfer of cats this weekend.
