Bill Nye "The Science Guy" is now a married man. People magazine says the TV host got married in late May to former Washington Post reporter Liza Mundy. The report says the ceremony took place at the Smithsonian Institute and was officiated by Star Trek actor Robert Picardo. The couple recently appeared together at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of Bill Nye's new series "The End is Nye," which will begin streaming this August on Peacock.
By the way, Bill Nye is OURS. Nye began his career as a mechanical engineer for Boeing in Seattle, where he invented a hydraulic resonance suppressor tube used on 747 airplanes. In 1986, he left Boeing to pursue comedy—writing and performing for the local sketch television show Almost Live!, where he regularly conducted wacky science experiments.
