A teenager from Hawaii is my new hero. She and her family were vacationing in New Orleans last week, when her mom got attacked on the street and punched by some 36 year old dork of a man
Punahou graduate and national deadlifting record holder Masina Tupea went after him. After a brief struggle, she pinned him to the ground.
She suffered a black eye and her mother a dislocated jaw. The assailant was arrested.
Tupea said getting back up after you get hit was something she learned growing up in Hawaii.
