The Mariners scored five runs in the 11th inning to beat the Tigers 9-6 in Detroit. 

After both teams scored one run in the tenth to make it 4-4, Seattle added on five runs in the 11th inning with an RBI single from Jake Fraley, a two-RBI single from Dillon Thomas and a two-RBI double from Tom Murphy. Chris Flexen recorded six hits, three strikeouts and three earned runs in six frames, and Kyle Seager hit a three-run bomb in the sixth inning. The three-game series continues this morning at 10am Pacific.
