Okay, I saw them 2 years ago, and they were amazing. Really. Super Tight. I highly recommend. And now, with Michael McDonald reuniting with the band... my head's gonna pop off.
The Doobies and McDonald have been performing separately for years. Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, John McFee, and McDonald haven't toured together in 25 years. The announcement was made during a Doobie Brothers concert in Nashville on Monday night. McDonald came out during the encore and surprised the crowd when he performed Taking It To The Streets.
The tour hits here on Saturday, September 5th at White River Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale on December 6th.
