Seattle Hempfest: The Movie

The year was 2013. The place was Seattle’s waterfront. Pot was still illegal. People were still stoned in public. Seattle police handed out thousands of bags of Doritos to highly stoned individuals. Henry Hemp was spreading positivity.

And I was there to report. Live on the air. My boss at the time insisted. And after it was over on Monday, a listener called in to complain that his kid heard the words ‘pot’ and ‘bong’ on the radio. And most amazing, that boss reprimanded me. What is a girl to do? Except to tell that boss to go smoke another bowl!
