Oxycodone Found In Local Mussels

Scientists have found Oxycodone in some mussels -- in Elliott bay and the waters around Bremerton.

So if you’re wondering if this is because people are flushing their oxy pills directly down the commode - well - no -- this is all thanks to human urine runoff.

Don’t worry-- seafood markets get their mussels from clean and opioid-free locations.
