Mother and child are both doing all right after a baby was born onboard a Washington State Ferry. The M/V Samish was ready to leave Lopez Island for Anacortes when a man asked a crewmember for help. His wife was in labor in their vehicle that was parked on the ferry's car deck. Crewmembers and passengers helped move the woman to the medical room, where she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They were airlifted to Anacortes for medical care. On social media, people suggesting naming the boy Sam or Sammy, for being born on the Samish. Full Story at KIRO TV
