WA State Driver Gets Rocky Lesson When He Blows By Road Closure Signs

Lee Callahan here with a driving lesson. This happened just south of Chelan - up at US 97A at the Knapps Hill tunnel.

The road is closed because there’s been a rock slide and the barrier is up saying - don’t come in here - but an SUV decided to go in and drove over a large rock. He couldn’t get over the large rock and went about a mile leaving a huge mile long scrape mark along the road - and the SUV’s air bag deployed.
