The American Red Cross is opening an evacuation center at 4 p.m. Tuesday in response to a tornado that caused significant damage in Port Orchard.
The center is located at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church at 1150 Mitchell Avenue SE in Port Orchard.
Red Cross responders can provide assistance that may include emergency shelter, food, clothing and other urgent needs.
