Get ready for some changes to be coming to your local GameStop because a new report from GameSpot is claiming that two companies are interested in potentially interested in buying the ownership rights for the company.
Apparently the two companies that are rumored to be involved are Apollo Global Management and Sycamore Partners so don't get your hopes up that a gamin expert is buying the retail company.
Now all we can do is essentially wait and see, but hopefully with a new owner means that the stores will change to become less of a Hot Topic like store that will get as much money as they can out of gamers to the gaming mecca we all loved when we were kids!
