Xbox Reveals Adaptive Controllers for People with Disabilities

Props to the Microsoft and Xbox teams for creating a new controller that will be designed for gamers with limited mobility or conditions that making gaming difficult called the "Xbox Adaptive Controller."

Developed with the assistance of associations around the world, including AbleGamers, SpecialEffect, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Craig Hospital, and Warfighter Engaged, the controller works with third-party devices that gamers with limited mobility may already own.

The controller has two large built-in buttons which can be programmed to act as any standard controller button input by using the Xbox Accessories app./ You can check out what it looks like below.

The Xbox Adaptive Controller will be available later this year for $99.99 and according to Head of Xbox Phil Spencer was made to increase the world's opportunities to enjoy gaming!
