Just in case we get lucky, and the clouds part, we'll get a 20% solar eclipse today between 10:30 and 12:30. Be prepared to view the eclipse with either approved safety glasses or an old-fashioned homemade viewing box.
You can also check on the pavement beneath leafy trees, as eclipse shadows often appear as a patterned array on the ground as they bounce through the leaves.
