Attention Christmas Over-Achievers!
The USDA Forest Service announced Monday there are three purchase options available for people looking to find their perfect Christmas tree this year in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
Online permits
You can purchase a Christmas tree permit online by going to the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forests website here. Each permit costs $5 each, however if purchased online, there is a $4.50 additional charge for the transaction fee.
Permits purchased online must be printed and displayed on the vehicle dash on the day you remove your tree from the forest.
