A woman was attacked by a nursing monk seal on a Honolulu beach on Sunday. Someone on a kayak rescued her. She was injured, but not seriously.
She shouldn't have been swimming there in the first place. She was warned against it, but went in anyway. And then swam beyond a rope perimeter that was there because the seal had exhibited aggressive behavior since giving birth.
(Careful: There are bleeped profanities in the video. She's brought ashore at 1:50.)
