A video went viral over the weekend of a Pearl Jam show in Zurich, Switzerland last month, when Eddie Vedder stopped the show, during the song Animal, to have a woman ejected for smacking a guy on the back of the head.
Apparently, the man had been recording the whole show, and the woman got fed up with it, so she hit him. And Eddie saw the whole thing.
He said, "I know it upset you, but you can't [effin'] hit him in the back of head either, even though you're a woman. I appreciate the fact that you can be strong. Quit hitting him. You're out of here. Violence is not allowed."
