The Amazon Meeting Center is being added to Seattle's list of cooling centers where residents can go to escape the heat. City officials announced yesterday the building on Seventh Avenue will be open to residents from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. today. The meeting center has capacity for up to one-thousand people. Attendees will be required to wear masks and provide ID upon entrance.
