The first winner of a quarter-million dollars in Washington state's COVID-19 vaccine prize lottery plans to claim their reward today. Officials with the Washington State Lottery say they spoke with the winner of $250K yesterday. Officials say they've now contacted all the winners from Tuesday's first round of drawings. There will be a new quarter-million-dollar winner chosen every week until July 13th, when someone will win the million-dollar grand prize. Other prizes being given away are money for higher education tuition, airplane tickets, Xboxes and other merchandise, as well as goodies from Washington State Parks and Washington Fish and Wildlife.
