Blue Star Museums Nationwide Offer Free Admission to Military Families
The National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families are pleased to announce the return of the Blue Star Museums program for summer 2021. Museums in all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands are registered as Blue Star Museums, with more museums signing up to participate throughout the summer. National Parks Service Free Annual Pass for U.S. Military. Available for current U.S. military service members and dependents, including Reserve and National Guard members. To obtain a pass, go in person to a federal recreation site (see PDF list of federal recreation sites that issue passes) and show a Common Access Card (CAC) or Military ID (Form 1173). A pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees (day use fees) at national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A pass covers entrance, standard amenity fees and day use fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). Children age 15 or under are admitted free.
