Fleeing sex offender taken down by K-9 dog in Marysville

Thanks to Snohomish County Sheriff's deputies and their K-9 unit, a 42-year-old sex offender in Marysville, Washington, was apprehended.

According to KOMO News:

A 42-year-old sex offender who fled into the woods to avoid arrest didn't get very far before he was taken down by a K-9 police dog, sheriff's officials said.
The suspect, who has three prior convictions for failing to register as a sex offender, was wanted on a fourth charge for the same offense, and authorities had been trying to track him down for the past week, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect also had failed to appear for a recent court hearing, and a warrant had been issued for his arrest, officials said. Authorities also knew that that the suspect had a history of fleeing from law enforcement on multiple occasions.
