US Firefighters Applauded At Sidney, Australia Airport [Video]

A spontaneous round of applause broke out at Sydney International Airport for a group of American firefighters who arrived this week to help fight the wildfires hitting Australia. Be still my heart.

The Red Cross says it has helped more than 18,600 people affected by fires and heat waves since July. Their teams are focused on supporting Australians at evacuation centers and providing “psychological first aid” to abate trauma.
