Left to right, Charlize Theron as Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson and Margot Robbie as Kayla Pospisil in "Bombshell."
You know the story, but now you’ll know ALL of the story.
Finding out the details about who brought down Roger Ailes (played as a disgusting monster by John Lithgow) is thrilling and sad as hell at the same time. I give Bombshell an A. I give misogyny an F.
My only regret in a movie I fully loved was Nicole. I’m a devout fan, but something fell flat. Either Gretchen wasn’t written well, or, as I strongly suspect, Gretchen isn’t that interesting.
Charlize was spellbinding and Margo was perfectly cringeworthy. And the much needed lighthearted treat: All of the cameos by famous actors playing cameos of famous fringe players. Many fine touches on a well told tale.
