Naked man arrested after stabbing three people on Seattle sidewalk

Three people were injured in a random stabbing outside the downtown Seattle Nordstroms on Tuesday. The nude suspect was arrested and a knife was recovered.

Just after 10am, police had received reports that an individual had stabbed three people near 6th Avenue and Pine Street. One of the victims ran into a nearby store as the suspect fled the scene. After the officers arrived, they arrested the man near 8th Avenue and Olive Street. Police also recovered the knife and his clothes, which he had stripped off while fleeing the police.

Victims include a 75-year-old man that was stabbed in the neck and a 77-year-old man who was stabbed in the back. Both were transported to Harborview and are listed in stabled condition. A third man was stabbed in the forearm and was treated at the scene.

The 29-year-old suspect was booked in King County Jail for investigation of assault and a probation violation.
