WWE Legend Ric Flair Hospitalized After "Very Serious" Medical Emergency

WWE Legend Ric Flair was rushed to an Atlanta hospital Thursday morning after suffering a major medical emergency. It's been reported the 70-year-old was initially taken to the emergency room for treatment. There are no specifics at this time, but TMZ Sports was told the situation is "very serious."

Back in 2017, Ric Flair was placed into a medically induced coma for 11 days after an intestine rupture. He was in critical condition and on the verge of passing away.

Born Richard Morgan Fliehr in Memphis, Tennessee, the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair has wrestled professionally for 40 years, working with Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. He is officially recognized as a 16-time world champion.

His daughter, Ashley, wrestles as Charlotte Flair for WWE.
