When a person is proposed to, it's usually a moment they want to cherish forever, so often times a photographer is standing by to document the milestone. However, many proposals are surprises so the person who isn't down on one knee might not be looking their best in the pictures. That's just what happened to a woman named Diana in Australian after her boyfriend Jose asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. While she had no problem saying yes, she had a few issues with the photo shoot that immediately followed. Diana was happy to show off her new ring, but not her fingernails, which were in desperate need of a manicure. That's when her ingenious cousin Jenna stepped in to lend a hand... literally.
Jenna's nails looked perfect, so she put the ring on her finger and with just the right angles, took a shot of the newly engaged couple that looks just like them showing off the engagement ring - and in a way it is - it's just Jenna's hand in the pic.
Jenna shared the final shot as well as a behind-the-scenes photo on Twitter, captioning it, "My cousin's boyfriend proposed to her but she didn't have her nails done lmao." In later tweets, she explained that Diana doesn't get her nails done because she is a nurse, and Jose couldn't really ask her to get a manicure without tipping her off. He did get her to get dressed up though, telling her they were going to a celebration for his parents' anniversary, but it was actually an engagement party in her honor since he was pretty sure that she'd say yes.

No word yet on when their wedding will be or if Diana will have her nails done for it.
