Now there’s a new one for much less prestigious tunnel. It’s going to basically be a sewer tunnel that goes under the ship canal. 35,000 people voted on its name and it has been named after a longtime Seattle band. The boring machine is Mudhoney!
I guess the band Mudhoney loves it because they showed up for its big reveal yesterday. It is a beautiful boring machine with a paint job. I'd be proud, too.
