In 2012, when Samantha Jespersen was only 15 years old, someone created a business page on Facebook called "Samantha Rae Anne Jespersen's Butthole." It was even the first Google result when you searched her name.
The official business page stated, "This unofficial Page was created because people on Facebook have shown interest in this place or business. It's not affiliated with or endorsed by anyone associated with Samantha Rae Anna Jespersen's Butthole." It even offered people to recommend her butthole to others.
What's even scarier is the address listed for this "business" was the home that Samantha lived in 2012.
Samantha discovered the page in 2015 and has spent the last 4 years trying to get someone at Facebook to disable and remove the page. Facebook's response? "The page isn't in violation of its community standards."
So she tried a work around. Any Facebook business can be "claimed" by the owner, which would allow her to take it down. She tried submitting her phone number for verification, but she was unable to get it to work.
Samantha finally sought Reddit and posted in the subreddit /legaladvice, where he post immediately went viral, amassing over 25k upvotes. This caught the eye of a journalist at Buzzfeed News, who interviewed Samantha and reported on her story. A few hours after it was published, Facebook finally removed the page.
To this day, Samantha still doesn't know who created the page.
