On their “New Heights” podcast, Travis and Jason Kelce went deep into the pushing and yelling match between #87 and head coach Andy Reid during the Super Bowl. The brothers explained that this is something that happened because Travis and Reid have “so much love” for one another that they “feel comfortable enough” to share such passion in the heat of the moment.
That said, Jason also felt comfortable enough with his brother to let him know that he “crossed a line.” To that, Travis admitted that he did, and elaborated by saying, “I can’t get fired up to that point where I’m bumping Coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff.” The Chiefs’ Kelce said he and Reid “laughed about it,” but he knows his behavior was “unacceptable.”
