A few months back, an official from Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo from was on board an Alaska Airlines plane headed to Seattle, transporting six rare Chilean flamingo eggs in an incubator.

The incubator went on the fritz, so the flight attendant filled up rubber gloves with hot water to keep the eggs warm!

Fast forward to now - the attendant, Amber, along with her little baby, got to meet the newly hatched flamingos!

Story and photos here at KIRO 7.
