Jimmy Kimmel is being slammed online for a skit he and Will Arnett performed at the Emmy's. The skit had Will drag Jimmy Kimmel's body out onto the stage next to the microphone. Will explained that Jimmy was 'passed out' from too many drinks.
Will presented Quinta Brunson with the Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Abbott Elementary.
When Quinta went to get her award Jimmy continued to stay on the ground keeping him in the shot of Quinta making it almost impossible for the camera man to get a shot of Quinta without Jimmy being in it.
People slammed Jimmy Kimmel for 'stealing' her moment. One person wrote, Quinta Brunson deserved better than giving her acceptance speech over Jimmy Kimmel's 'dead' body.
When Quinta was asked about it backstage she said, I think in that moment, I was really happy that it was Jimmy Kimmel up there...I don't know, tomorrow maybe I'll be mad at him. I'm gonna be on his show on Wednesday so I might punch him in the face. I don't know. We'll see what happens.
