Food, Food Packaging 'Highly Unlikely' To Spread Virus

Have you been ordering a lot of takeout during the pandemic? Good news - research shows it's mostly safe.

According to the FDA, CDC, and USDA, food and food packaging are "highly unlikely to spread SARS-CoV-2", due to "overwhelming" research. The amount of virus particles theoretically picked up from touching a surface would be "extremely low", and that no evidence of transmission from food or food packaging has been found in over 100 million COVID-19 cases.
