Let's check in with our friends out in Skykomish and Grotton and Baring - the road finally got cleared with the help of a snow blowing helicopter. Now snow-mobiles can get in there with supplies but power will be out for another 4 to 7 days - ugh.
Volunteers have organized caravans of supplies to help those snowed-in near Grotto, Baring, and Skykomish. An online GoFundMe effort had raised more than $19,000 as of Thursday evening. If you’d like to support their effort, there is more information here.
